Sunny and humid Wednesday in the metro-east, slight chance of rain
The National Weather Service reported that Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a slight chance for rain and storms in the metro-east.
Wednesday is expected to reach a high of 92 with heat index values making it feel as high as 101. Drivers on their morning commute may see patchy fog before 8 a.m. There is a 20 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms after 1 p.m.
More patchy fog may come back after 2 a.m., but otherwise, Wednesday night is expected to have partly cloudy skies with a low around 74.
