Showers, storms and cooler temps in forecast
The forecast calls for a wet weekend with slightly cooler temperatures.
The National Weather Service said there’s a 30 percent chance of rain for the metro-east on Saturday, a 40 percent chance of rain on Saturday evening and a 30 percent chance of rain on Sunday.
High temperatures will reach the mid-80s on Saturday and the lower 80s on Sunday.

Sunday...Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. High in the lower 80s. Light wind in the morning becoming east around 10 mph in the afternoon.
