Cloudy, then sunny skies in metro-east Wednesday

Wednesday may start out foggy and cloudy in the morning, but the skies are expected to be sunny again by Wednesday afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday is expected to reach a high of 85 with cloudy skies eventually becoming mostly sunny.

Wednesday night is supposed to be partly cloudy with a low near 70.

Friday night...Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Low around 70.

Saturday...Showers and thunderstorms likely. High in the lower 80s. Chance of rain 70 percent.

Saturday night...Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Low in the mid 60s.

Sunday...Partly sunny with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. High in the upper 70s.

Sunday night...Partly cloudy. Low around 60.

Monday through Tuesday...Mostly clear. High around 80. Low around 60.
