Southwest Illinois village issues water boil order
The Village of Freeburg issued a boil order at 7:10 a.m. on Monday after a major water line break.
All water customers should either use bottled water or boil water for five minutes for any food preparation or consumption.
The boil order is in effect until further notice, and customers will be notified by the emergency call system with the boil order is lifted.
