St. Paul’s residents move into new home Monday in Belleville
Monday was moving day for the new St. Paul’s Retirement Home and Apartment Community, 1021 W. E St. in Belleville.
The $30 million building has six separate households that will house 18 to 24 people. Each household will feature a main kitchen and dining room for the residents, as well as a screened-in patio area overlooking a courtyard.
The building has three floors that will house people in skilled nursing areas, memory care, assisted living and long-term-stay apartments. It is designed so residents can move between care levels and still be near friends and spouses.
