Chance of rain, cooler temperatures to end workweek

Friday morning begins with scattered showers and cooler temperatures, and then cloudy skies are expected for the rest of the day.

The forecast from the National Weather Service calls for a 30 percent chance of rain throughout the metro-east early Friday morning with temperatures reaching 66 degrees.

Skies will then clear, but the clouds will remain. By Friday night, temperatures are expected to fall to 46.

Sunny skies will return Saturday, with a high near 68. Sunday should be sunny with a high of 79. Highs remain in the 70s for Monday and Tuesday, with little chance of rain for the start of the workweek.
