Business Briefing: Lower gas prices continue through the holidays
Gas prices continue to fall across the greater St. Louis region amid a peak traveling holiday season.
Average prices at the pump across the bi-state area have fallen below $1.99 a gallon for regular unleaded fuel throughout the metro-east. According to online gas price tracker GasBuddy.com, prices in St. Louis are down 19 cents per gallon.

Shares of Valeant Pharmaceuticals have fallen 7 percent after Chief Executive Officer J. Michael Pearson announced that he is taking a medical leave of absence. Pearson was hospitalized with pneumonia last week. Read more here.
