Holiday delays Belleville trash pickup by one day

The city of Belleville Sanitation Department will be closed Monday in observance of Presidents Day.

Because of this, all trash that is picked up Monday will instead be picked up Tuesday, and all other trash pickup days will be one day late for the rest of the week.

All trash items should be at the curb for pickup by 6 a.m. Residents can start placing trash at the curb after 5 p.m. the day before the scheduled pickup.
