Belleville continues tree limb cleanup

Belleville residents who had trees and limbs knocked down during storms last week can still drop off the debris or have it picked up by the street department.

Residents can take tree limbs to a lot just south of the sanitation department at 2915 S. Freeburg Ave. All limbs should be dropped off at the back of the pile.

Also, the street department will pick up limbs in front of residences if they are placed by the curb. Residents are asked not to block sidewalks with the limbs or put them in the street.

The city expects the cleanup work to take several weeks.
