“Ladies Who Lunch” event to benefit Highland food pantry

Six Highland businesses will host a special event on Saturday, Sept. 24 to benefit the Highland Area Christian Service Ministry (HACSM) food pantry.

“Ladies Who Lunch” will be a progressive luncheon and shopping event that will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will begin at The Tin Shed-Furniture by Kloss and continue at other gift and decor shops in town. Each shop will be serving one course of the luncheon, as well as offer exclusive shopping deals and discounts. Other participating businesses include The Giving Tree, Swiss Gift Shop, Something Special by Penny, Windows on Broadway and The Chocolate Affair.

Tickets are $3 in advance or $5 at the door. To reserve tickets, call Amy Kloss at (618) 318-8687. Those who purchase tickets will also be put in a drawing for attendance prizes, which will be drawn at the end of the day.
