SWIC noncredit classes now offered in Highland

If you are in the Highland area and want to learn something new, you are in luck. Southwestern Illinois College is now offering noncredit classes at the Louis Latzer Memorial Public Library, 1001 9th St.

Classes will include:

▪ Winning Online Strategies for Small Businesses on Wednesday, Oct. 5 from 6 to 9 p.m. Fee: $27

▪ DSLR Photography Basics Hands-On Workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. Fee: $27

▪ Winning Social Media Strategies for Small Businesses on Wednesday, Nov. 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. Fee: $27

▪ Holiday Portraits Hands-On DSLR Workshop on Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. Fee: $27

▪ How to Write Effective Blog Posts & Press Releases on Wednesday, Dec. 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. Fee: $27

▪ Pet and Baby Photography on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 6-9 p.m., fee: $27

▪ Sign Language, Tuesdays from Oct. 18 to Nov. 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. Fee: $108

▪ Applying Wood Finishes will be held at Cabinet Gallery, 205 Madison St. in Highland. Section 1 will be on Mondays, Oct. 3-17 from 6 to 8 p.m., and Section 2 will be on Mondays from Nov. 7-21 from 6 to 8 p.m. Fee: $54.
