“Young at Heart” trip will explore Silver Lake in Highland

The next “Young at Heart” trip put on by the Highland Parks and Recreation Department will meet at Silver Lake on Friday, Oct. 14 to enjoy lunch, entertainment, and take a scenic boat ride. The group will meet at Jaycee Pavilion No. 2 at 11 a.m. The day’s activities will conclude at 2 p.m. Cost is $25, with lunch included. Registration is due by Oct. 10. Young at Heart events are for seniors 55 years and older. For more information or to register, call 651-1386.
