The Troy Cub Scouts are offering a second opportunity for families to join Scouting this fall. Registration events will be held on Friday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. at Silver Creek Elementary, and on Friday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. at the Troy United Methodist Church.
“It’s not too late to join the fun,” said Laura Roach, district executive for Madison County. “Families schedules are always changing, and we want to ensure our families in Troy have a second opportunity to sign up for the adventure in Scouting.”
Cub Scouts, for boys in grades 1-5, is a character education program that helps young men to develop leadership and life skills, ethics, and citizenship participation and awareness.
