With colder temperatures quickly approaching, the St. Louis Red Coats have partnered with local businesses to give back to the community.

“Many families go through the winter months without proper clothing and it’s part of our mission to help provide warmth to these families,” said Joshua Hughes, founder of St. Louis Red Coats.

Through Nov. 30, there will be a donation box at Blake Schrumpf State Farm Office, 2768 Troxler Way in Highland, to donate adult, children’s/infant’s winter coats, jackets, and clothing that are clean and in good condition.

All clothing will be donated to The Haven of Grace in St. Louis, Mo., and Contact Ministries in Springfield, Ill.

For a full list of their needs, visit their respective websites at havenofgracestl.org and contactministries.com.

“We believe it’s important to be involved in our local communities,” Hughes said, “and we look forward to volunteering in the years to come.”
