Leaps of Love to hold $10,000 dinner/dance

Do you play a sport? Do you support a sport? Well then, get out your jersey, your T-shirt, your school spirit wear and show some support while helping kids with cancer.

Leaps of Love’s $10,000 Dinner/Dance has themed this year’s dance, the “SPORTS-A-RAMA!” This year’s event will be on Friday, Nov. 11 at the Lindendale Park Ballroom in Highland. A buffet dinner will be served from 6 to 8 p.m.

Along with the elimination drawing where you could win up to $10,000, there will also be sports-related games for your entertainment.

When you buy a $100 certificate, it entitles you to dinner for two, 23 chances to win back your $100, two chances to win $250, or one chance to be the winner of $10,000. This is an elimination drawing with the 10 finalists given the option to split or draw. Only 250 certificates will be sold.

Leaps of Love is a Highland-based organization that embraces families affected by childhood brain tumors and the late-effects of childhood cancer.
