Highland area police briefs: May 12-17

HPD warrant arrests

▪ Frederick W. Jedliska, 36, of Caseyville was arrested by HPD on May 15 on a Highland warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was denied bond.

▪ Morgan M. Martin, 23, of Troy was arrested by HPD on May 15 on a Highland warrant for failure to appear in court on a theft charge. She was issued a recognizance bond.

▪ Justin M. Unger, 26, of Highland was arrested by HPD on May 15 on a St. Clair County warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of possession of cannabis. HPD additionally charged Unger with possession of a controlled substance for allegedly having leas than 15 grams of a substance containing Psilocyn, the hallucinogenic component found in more than 75 known species of mushrooms. In the same incident, Ashley N. Porter, 20, of Troy was charged with possession of less than 15 grams of Psilocyn.

May 12

▪ David C. Hunter, 40, of Pocahontas was charged with theft for allegedly taking an acrylic nail kit and a bottle of Curve perfume from Wal-Mart.

▪ Guy A. Matthews II, 41, of Highland was charged with domestic battery for allegedly punching his girlfriend in the mouth while she was holding the couple’s infant daughter.

▪ Matthew K. Fox, 39, of Highland was charged with criminal trespass to property for allegedly entering the Circle K, after having previously been told by management he was forbidden to be there.

May 13

▪ Matthew K. Fox, 39, of Highland was again charged with criminal trespass to property for allegedly entering the Circle K, after having previously been told by management he was forbidden to be there.

May 14

▪ Jeremiah Martin, 20, of St. Jacob was charged with failure to yield when pulling out from a private drive.

May 15

▪ Lynda K. Meyer, 38, of Highland was charged with retail theft for allegedly taking 52 various items from Wal-Mart.

May 16

▪ Matthew K. Fox, 39, of Highland was again charged with criminal trespass to property for allegedly entering the Circle K, after having previously been told by management he was forbidden to be there.

May 17

▪ Matthew K. Fox, 39, of Highland was again charged with criminal trespass to property for allegedly entering the Circle K, after having previously been told by management he was forbidden to be there.
