Highland Police Briefs: July 20-25

HPD warrant arrest

Highland Police arrested Orrin D. Jordan, 55, of Lebanon on July 24 on a warrant from Warren County, Mo., for failure to appear in court on a charge of neglect. He was transported to the Madison County Jail.

HPD misdemeanors, tickets, citations

July 20

Edward E. Coburn, 66, of St. Jacob was charged with failure to yield at a stop/yield sign.

Austin J. Nix, 20, of Highland was charged with having a suspended vehicle registration.

A juvenile, 16, of Highland was charged with driving past the license’s time restriction (11 p.m. to 6 a.m.).

July 21

No tickets issued.

July 22

Jackson C. Kannall, 20, of Highland was charged with operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and driving without lights when required.

July 23

No tickets issued.

July 24

Danny J. Kernan, 52, of Highland was charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly causing a disturbance inside of the Baymont Inn and Suites by “being extremely intoxicated arguing with the clerk about money, grabbing the clerk’s arm and kissing her hand and hitting the video gaming machine,” according to the police report.

July 25

Keith J. Diesselhorst, 46, of Alhambra was charged with retail theft for allegedly exerting unauthorized control of property of headlamps and intending to deprive Car Quest Auto and Tractor Supply of the property. He was also charged with driving while having a suspended/revoked license.
