Quilt raffle to benefit Highland Relay for Life

A quilt raffle will be held to benefit Highland’s upcoming Relay for Life.

The colorful quilt is made from T-shirts from previous Relays. The quilt will be on display at the Peanut Butter & Jam Festival on Friday, June 19.

Raffle tickets are $5 each or three for $10 and will be for sale at Friday’s PBJ, or from any Relay Committee member, or by calling Joy Krouper at (618)409-7864. The winner will be drawn and announced at Relay.

Relay for Life of Highland will be July 10-11, 2015 at Glik Park/Korte Rec Center. Relay will kick off at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 10 and continue until 2 a.m. the next morning. The event will feature a variety of activities and competitions to raise funds for the fight against cancer, celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, and remember loved ones lost to cancer.
