Street BannerProject

Alhambra is looking for a donations from businesses or community organizations to donate toward street banners. They will be similar to the ones that were hung during the sesquicentennial celebration on 1999. For further information or anyone wishing to donate toward the banners, contact Gail Ohren at 488-2612.

Village seeks flag donations

Several years ago, the village had a flag drive to ensure that on special days the flags would be out for all to see and as a reminder of all we have to love about our country. Supplies are getting low again and it is time to replenish the flags. Anyone wishing to donate a new 3 by 5 foot flag may buy one at and donate it. Cost is under $10.

Donations may also be made in honor of or in memory of a past or present service man/woman, or any loved one. Drop flags off at Village Hall or 301 Coral (Freddie Riepshoff’s house). Checks or cash maybe left with Village Clerk or with Riepshoff, and the flags will be purchased.

A list of donors and honorees will be published at a later date.
