Pre-registration deadline extended for sports physicals at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland

Athletes Advantage, the sports medicine program at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland, is offering sports physicals to area student-athletes on Tuesday, July 7 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The pre-registration deadline for the July 7 sports physicals event has been extended to Thursday, July 2 for all completed forms and pre-payments to be submitted.

Student-athletes at area schools can get a head-start on gearing up for the next school year’s sports seasons (2015-2016 academic year) by completing their sports physicals even before the first day of school begins.

This year, same as last year, all physicals will require pre-registration and pre-payment. Appointment times will be given to streamline the process. The Athletes Advantage staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital — along with local physicians — will be available to complete these required physical examinations. Priority will be given to those who first complete the pre-registration process.

The Athletes Advantage sports physicals will be held in the Ungacta Conference Center in the Medical Office Building at St. Joseph’s Hospital (12866 Troxler) in Highland at a low cost of $25. All proceeds will benefit local school athletic programs.
