St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary to sponsor annual garage sale

The HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary in Highland will be hosting its annual garage sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, July 10, in the gymnasium of St. Paul Catholic Church, 1412 Ninth St. in Highland.

During the sale from 1 to 3 p.m., you can buy a bag full of items for only $2 and any large items for $2 each.

There will also be a special “preview” sale for the general public on Thursday, July 9 from 4 to 8 p.m. There is a $2 entrance fee for the special “preview” sale times.

You can drop off items for the garage sale at St. Paul Catholic Church gymnasium between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8 and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 9. Please do not donate clothes, shoes, textbooks or magazines.

During the organization’s 47-plus-year history, the St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary has raised more than $300,000, which has allowed St. Joseph’s Hospital to purchase equipment, technology and other medical supplies to help the poor, needy and vulnerable. The St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary has also distributed thousands of scholarship dollars to post-secondary students seeking careers in the health care field.
