▪ National Alliance on Mental Illness Southwestern Illinois (NAMI SWI) — 7-8:30 p.m. Online via Zoom. Virtual support meetings for family members and other caregivers of individuals with mental illness. Meetings are peer-led and rely on the knowledge and experiences of the group to help one another. The Sheldon and the Mizzou New Music Initiative honor longtime St. Louis music journalist and musician Dean Minderman, who passed away in September 2021, at this very special concert featuring three new commissioned works. This tribute concert will include three pieces commissioned in honor of Dean Minderman, composed by MNMI students, including “Provinciana” by Santiago Beis, “Night Blossoms” by Ben Colagiovanni and “Romance of the Worms” by Emily Shaw.
