Highland Jaycees CRAZY co-ed softball tournament to raise money for pet park
The Highland Jaycees will put on a CRAZY co-ed softball tournament at Glik Park on Saturday, Aug. 8 to raise funds for the proposed dog park at the new Rinderer Park.
Registration will begin at 9 a.m., with the first game scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. The entry fee is $200 per team, and teams must consist of at least 10 but no more than 15 people. Each inning will have a twist on the standard softball rules to make the tournament CRAZY, such as batting from the opposite side of the plate, running the bases in the opposite direction, an extra base being added to the field, and more.
Check out the fly attached to this story for complete list of the rules.
Contact Joe Horstmann at (618) 339-4054 to register or with any questions.
