Highland fashion show to benefit Leaps of Love

Heather Pearson Photography will present a Back-to-School Fashion Show on July 31 at the Highland Knights of Columbus Hall, with all proceeds benefiting Leaps of Love, a Highland-based charity that helps families of children with cancer.

“Our success will be measured by the money we raise for this wonderful cause,” said Pearson, a Highland-based photographer.

The show will feature local high school students showcasing clothing from Buckle, a national retailer, dresses from Girl’s Night Out in Swansea, and jewelry from Stella & Dot.

“Our goal is to create an event Highland looks forward to year-after-year while raising money for a wonderful cause,” Pearson said.

Doors open at 6:15 p.m., and the fashion show starts at 7 p.m. There will be prizes for “best dressed” attendees and a raffle for a custom senior portrait experience. There will be a cash bar, and Covering Fire will perform following the show until midnight.

Tickets are on sale now. General admission is $10, and it’s $20 for VIP treatment, which includes front-row seating and appetizers.

Tickets are available by emailing Pearson at heathers-photography@hotmail.com or calling her at (618) 409-8176.
