Grantfork Elementary

• Parents are asked to send baby pictures of the school’s fifth-grade students. These are for the yearbook and may be sent as a hard copy (name and address on back so they may be returned) or a digital picture. These are due by Friday, March 24.
• Spring Break will be celebrated from Thursday, April 6, through Monday, April 10. There is no school during these dates.

St. Gertrude’s Church

• The Stations of the Cross will be observed at 6 p.m. every Wednesday during Lent and Adoration at 6:30 p.m.
• The Altar Society meeting will be at 7 p.m. Monday, March 27. All ladies are welcome and encouraged to attend.
• Jamie Dressler was honored for her devotion of providing beautiful music for the parish the past 17 years.

Grantfork Anniversary Books

Laurence Schwartz has four anniversary books left for sale. These tell the history of St. Gertrude Catholic Church and Grantfork United Church of Christ. If interested in purchasing a copy of the book, contact Shirley Schwartz at 618-675-2883.

Grantfork Elementary Survey

The Illinois State Board of Education is offering the parents an opportunity to rate their children’s school. This may be kept anonymous or may be signed.
