Community Club News

Alhambra Community Club met Monday, March 20, at the Township Center. The speaker for the evening was Elizabeth Weiland, who spoke of how she and her husband Kenneth moved here from California. She had worked as a scientist, but preferred doing research on a lesser scale. She works at Washington University and is into research on different viruses.

During the business portion of the meeting members voted to donate money to the village for the 175th anniversary celebration, Alhambra Rehab and Healthcare for their Easter Egg Hunt and Hitz Memorial Home for their Easter Celebration. Ashley Ernst also received a donation for the Little Homesteaders Small Business Fair, which involves businesses run by school age children.
