Community Club
The Alhambra Community Club has been busy giving back to the community.
Recently they asked the Alhambra Primary teachers what they would need in terms of donations.
Each of the 13 teachers made a list of items that they would like to receive for projects they were planning, such as markers, glitter, clay pots, etc.
They were also the recipients of 23 basketballs. The other balls they had were so old they were dry-rotted.
Goody bags for each of the students were donated for Halloween.
The Community Club will sell quilt raffle tickets at TruBuy in Highland 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 and at Maedges in Alhambra 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9.
