First Mid-Illinois Bank and Trust welcomes Goodwin as community president
First Mid-Illinois Bank & Trust recently announced that Ryan Goodwin has joined the company as community president for First Mid banking centers in Highland and Maryville. He will be responsible for business development with particular emphasis on commercial lending in the community and surrounding markets.
Prior to joining First Mid, Goodwin served as assistant vice president of business banking, business development officer, and in treasury management for First Clover Leaf Bank in Highland and Edwardsville.
Goodwin obtained a bachelor’s of arts degree from Marshall University in Huntington, W. Va.
“We’re excited to have Ryan join our management team,” said Mitch Swim, regional president at First Mid-Illinois Bank & Trust. “With his background in the financial industry and his involvement in the community, he is a natural fit for First Mid.”
Goodwin is active in a number of community organizations, including member of the Highland Industrial Development Commission, board of Highland Home Retirement Community, board of Highland Rotary Club, Chairman of Highland Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, and race director for Highland Lions Club Memorial Day Biathlon and 5-mile run.
