Santa Visits Grantfork

On Sunday, Dec. 10, Grantfork children enjoyed visiting with Santa.

The jolly old elf arrived riding in the village fire truck. During the visit the children enjoyed food, sweet snacks, gifts, games and crafts.

Wreaths Across America

Order your wreath this week if you wish to honor in remembrance a local vet.

Remember and honor veterans who are no longer with us by placing a wreath on the grave of a local veteran.

This year wreaths will be placed on the graves at the Grantfork UCC Cemetery.

The ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16.

The cost of a wreath is $17.

Grantfork United Church of Christ

The next church council meeting will be held Tuesday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m.

Christmas Eve worship service will begin with Sunday School at 9 a.m. followed by worship at 10:15 a.m. A candlelight with Communion service will take place at 5:30 p.m.

There will be no Christmas Day service.
