This is a notice from the Office of Mayor Steven Brendel: If you have anyone that is soliciting in the Village, ask to see their permit. If they don’t have a permit, send them to the village office to get an application. If you can get a name, callback number or license plate number, please forward that to our office. Thanks.

Grantfork UCC Bible School Day Camp

The UCC in Grantfork has invited kids K-5 to attend a Bible school day camp, 5:30-8 p.m. Sunday, July 28

This free event is sponsored by the Grantfork UCC Growing in Faith Together (GIFT) Youth Group. Registration forms are available at the back of each church.

St. Gertrude Catholic Church Chicken Dinner Results

Thank you to all who attended the annual chicken dinner and those that bought raffle tickets.

A total of 765 meals were served.

The lucky raffle winners were: Quilt, Emily Schwartz; $200 winners: Janet Lampe, Gene Weis and Alfie Guthrie; $100 winners: Mary Ellen Gass and Jacob Troxell won twice; $50 winners: Wayne Maedge and Rich May.
