Salem Fellowship and Women’s Guild Corn Roast

There will be no meeting for the month of August. The next meeting will be Thursday, Sept. 19.

Clothing Drop Box

There will be a new drop box for used clothing placed at Salem Church in the parking lot.

Items that may be placed in the bin are shoes, clothing, linens of any kind.

Items will be collected regularly and sold at a resale shop with the profits to benefit the programs at Hoyleton.

Fall Yard Sales

Plans are being made for fall yard sales. Dates set are Sept. 19, 3-6 p.m.; Sept. 20, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sept. 21, 8 a.m. to noon.

Message Kelsey Dauderman on Facebook to have a yard sale listed. Maps will be printed closer to the event.

Village Board Meeting

The September meeting of the Alhambra Village Board will be held Monday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. at the Village Hall, 602 W. Main St., Alhambra.

Township Meeting

The September meeting of the Alhambra Township Board will be held Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m. at the Township Center, 101 E. Main St., Alhambra.
