The Highland Area Women’s Connection invites all ladies to a “Dress Yourself…Dress Your Home” brunch from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 11 at Urban Farmhouse Eatery and Pie Co. (formerly Farmers Restaurant), 15 Central Blvd. in Highland.

Laurie Jatcko from The Giving Tree in Highland will show fashions for you and your home.

Vicki Scherer, an author, speaker and teacher from Decatur, Ill., will explain how you can: “Plan for the future, but you can’t predict it!”

No membership is required. All women are welcome. Off-site, complimentary, child care for infants and preschoolers is available with advance notice.
