Grantfork Homecoming features parades Friday and Saturday

Grantfork Homecoming is Aug. 14 & 15

This year’s homecoming will be on Aug. 14 and 15 at Firemen’s Park in Grantfork.

The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday evenings. This year’s parade theme is “Favorite Board Games.” A special float has been added to the parade, and all of the retired Grantfork firefighters are asked to ride. Those riding are asked to meet at the beginning of the parade.

Germaine Rides will offer $20 arm bands sold at the park, and these are good for the entire night and unlimited rides.

A co-ed softball tournament will take place in the afternoon. Adam Vosholler is in charge of the tournament.

Music will be provided by Black Top Boulevard on Friday night and Buffalo Road on Saturday night.

There will be lots of good food and drinks, raffle tickets and lots of great prizes to be won.
