No windmills — silos, maybe — on this putt-putt course
The Highland FFA Alumni will be having its third annual “Puttin’ ’Round the Country” golf scramble on Saturday, Sept. 12 at Grantfork Firemen’s Park.
Registration will be between 9 and 10 a.m. The scramble will include nine putting holes at various farms in the Grantfork area. Each hole will be custom built by a volunteer, and each volunteer is free to be creative as they wish. You must bring your own putter. You must be 21 to participate.
Upon conclusion of the scramble a “Gravity Ball Contest,” silent auction, awards, and a meal will take place at Grantfork Firemen’s Park.
Cost is $100 for a four-person team. Registration after Sept. 1 is $150. The registration form is linked to this story.
The proceeds from the scramble will support the Highland FFA Chapter in scholarships, awards, travel, etc.
