Highland area police briefs for Aug. 10-16

Highland man faces felony drug charge

Highland police charged Gary A. Runge, 28, of Highland with possession of heroin on Aug. 11. He was additionally charged with possession of a hypodermic, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to signal for a turn. The next day, Runge was charged with two counts of violation of bail bond conditions.

HPD felony warrant arrests

▪ John W. Watson, 58, of Highland was arrested on Aug. 13 on an HPD warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving while having a revoked license.

▪ Nicholas J. Kernan, 20, Highland was arrested on Aug. 14 on a Madison County warrant for criminal damage to property.

HPD misdemeanor warrant arrests

▪ Matthew K. Fox, 37, of Highland was arrested on Aug. 12 on an HPD warrant for failure to appear in court on a retail theft charge.

▪ Jessica M. Papp, 31, of Granite City was arrested by Illinois State Police on Aug. 13 on an HPD warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving while having a suspended/revoked license.

▪ April R. Bautista, 33, of Granite City was arrested on Aug. 15 on a warrant from Macoupin County for failure to appear in court on a charge of operation of an uninsured motor vehicle.

▪ Michael L. Norman, 33, of Granite City was arrested on Aug. 15 on a warrant from St. Clair County for dumping.

▪ A juvenile, 16, of Highland was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Aug. 12

▪ Marianne K. Kohrmann, 45, of Marine was charged with having an expired vehicle registration.

Aug. 13

▪ No tickets issued.

Aug. 14

▪ Ashleigh N. Linville, 23, of Highland was charged with driving while having a suspended/revoked license and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle.

Aug. 15-16

▪ No tickets issued.
