Worden Patriots Day Celebration to feature fireworks, BBQ contest

The fourth annual Patriots Day Celebration will begin at noon on Saturday, Sept. 19 at Worden Community Park. There will be live music, a beer tent, food, a horseshoe tournament, and a kids zone, featuring a bounce house, magician and more. There will be a St. Louis BBQ Association-sanctioned barbecue contest, too. BBQ judging starts at 2 p.m., and awards will be handed out at 4 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled at dusk.
