First Clover Leaf Bank Highland branch welcomes new VP
First Clover Leaf Bank’s Highland branch has announced the newest addition to its team. Thomas Netzer has been named the vice president of business banking.
After spending the last 10 years as the regional president of a large banking group, Netzer’s focus at First Clover Leaf will be on developing relationships in the greater Highland area, offering commercial lending and affiliated products.
“I wanted to get back to my banking roots of handling small business and middle market customers, in addition to being closer to my family after many years spent on the road,” he said. “First Clover Leaf Bank affords me the freedom to design custom financing packages specifically for my clients’ business needs, as opposed to putting them into a standard set of products.”
“The addition of Tom in the Highland market will add a great deal of depth and experience to the area. As a long-time resident of the area, Tom will be able to assist the residents and local business owners of his community with all facets of their banking and lending needs, in which Tom has extensive experience,” said Steve Cooper, senior vice president of First Clover Leaf Bank. “We anticipate good results from Tom as residents realize the expertise that is available to them.”
Netzer has a long history of success in the banking industry with more than 32 years of experience, including serving as a chief credit officer responsible for the quality of the bank’s loan portfolio, a banking and business consultant, and a senior commercial lender.
“Tom is a great addition to our Highland staff and commercial lending team. I look forward to the knowledge and experience that Tom will bring to our community,” said Heather Jenny, branch supervisor in Highland.
