Highland area police briefs for Sept. 14-21

Man faces felony drug charge

Steven M. Madden, 18, of Collinsville was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct for allegedly starting an altercation at 814 Main St. He was also charged with felony possession of a controlled substance for allegedly having alprazolam, a prescription drug used to treat anxiety disorders.

HPD misdemeanor warrant arrests

▪ Debbie J. Wright, 43, of Highland was arrested on Sept. 15 on an HPD warrant for failure to appear in court on a disorderly conduct charge. She posted bond.

▪ Linda D. Antoine, 63, of Litchfield was arrested by HPD on Sept. 17 on a warrant from Montgomery County for contempt of court.

Sept. 16

▪ Michelle L. Price, 24, of Granite City was charged with driving while having a suspended/revoked license.

Sept. 17

▪ Rob R. Poston, 17, of Highland was charged with operation of an uninsured motor vehicle.

▪ Timothy R. Stewart, 42, of Highland was charged with operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and and driving while having a suspended/revoked license.

Sept. 18

▪ Jason J. Rainwater, 33, of Pocahontas was charged with improper lane usage.

▪ Brandon M. Moss, 47, of Highland was charged with having unrestrained dogs.

Sept. 19

▪ A juvenile, 16, was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis.

Sept. 20

▪ No tickets issued.

Sept. 21

▪ Kevin J. King, 18, of Pocahontas was charged with disobeying a traffic signal.
