Music festival, car cruise set on Saturday in Blackjack

The St. John the Baptist Chapel Foundation of the Troy Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring “Tunes & Tires,” a bluegrass/country music festival and classic car cruise on Saturday, Oct. 3 from noon to 6 p.m. The event will be held at the Knights of Columbus property at 8729 Lebanon Road historic Blackjack (rural Troy).

Gates will open at noon, and music will be performed from 2 to 6 p.m. The musical lineup will be: Tim Quinn and Clare Kukielski, Paul Jarvis, and Bob Johnson and Friends of Bluegrass.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Bring lawn chairs. Admission is $5. Kids 10 and under are free. Show car owners receive free admission, a voucher for free food and drink and are eligible for door prizes.
