Benefit dance to be held for local musician

A dance to benefit local musician Jim McCaw, who is fighting diabetes, and his family will held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4 at the Helvetia Sharpshooters Ballroom at Lindenale Park in Highland. There will be music by the Mark Murphy Band, The Hair Syndicate and Jam Session. There will also be a 50-50 drawing, silent basket auction, food and a cash bar.
