Jarvis Township offers free flu shots

Free flu shots will again be offered to Jarvis Township residents. Shots will be given from 2 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9 at the Wiesemeyer Center, located at 410 Wickliffe Ave. in Troy, in Tri-Township Park. The township has enough vaccine for about 750 shots. Proof of residency in Jarvis Township will be required for a free shot. For those who live outside the township, the cost of a flu shot is $15.
