Highland area police briefs for Oct. 5-11

HPD warrant arrest
▪ Caleb D. Minney, 22, of Greenville was arrested on Oct. 7 on a warrant from Collinsville police for failure to appear in court on a felony theft charge. He was also wanted by Granite City police on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of making an illegal turn. He was turned over to Collinsville police.
HPD misdemeanor citations, tickets
Oct. 5
▪ David W. McElvain, 34, of Pocahontas was charged with having a suspended vehicle registration and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle.
Oct. 6
▪ Christopher W. Korte, 18, of Highland was charged with retail theft for allegedly taking a 12-pack of REDD’s Apple Ale, two bottles of liquor, and five bottles of soda, having a total value of $68.12.
▪ Garrett M. Hoyt, 27, of Highland was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
▪ Desiree A. Mauer, 20, of Highland was charged with speeding.

▪ Chad M. Moss, 40, of Highland was charged with failure to signal for a turn.
Oct. 8
▪ Tiffany D. Riepshoff, 22, of St. Jacob was charged with operation of an uninsured motor vehicle.

Tina H. Webster, 42, of Florissant, Mo., was charged with operation of an uninsured motor vehicle.
Oct. 9
▪ Alanna Kay Steinmann, 25, of Highland was charged with unlawful interference with visitation.
▪ Colton A. Talbot, 20, of Highland was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.
▪ Andrea D. Welsh, 34, of Highland was charged with operation of an uninsured motor vehicle.
Oct. 10
▪ Kerry M. Durnell, 27, of Collinsville was charged with operation of an uninsured motor vehicle.
Oct. 11
▪ Mary P. Mang, 23, of Glen Carbon was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Jamie M. Blaylock, 30, of Highland was charged with driving while having a suspended/revoked license.
▪ Richard J. Grieve, 43, of Troy was charged with driving while having a suspended/revoked license.
▪ Gregory A. Morelan, 26, of Granite City was charged with retail theft for allegedly taking a Hurricane bow release from Walmart valued at $49.98.

A juvenile, 16, of Highland was charged with violation of driver’s license restrictions.
▪ Matthew K. Haselhorst, 31, of Highland was charged with having a suspended vehicle registration.
