Companies still have time to register for career fair in Highland

The Highland Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the city of Highland, is hosting the first Highland Works bi-annual career fair on Friday, Nov. 6.

“Highland Works is a collaborative effort between the city of Highland and the Highland Chamber of Commerce to serve the needs of our growing businesses. It is a great opportunity for career seekers to place their resumes in the hands of decision makers from top companies in Highland. We all know that resumes don’t tell the whole story and face-to-face interactions can make a big impact.” said Nancie Zobrist, executive director of the Highland Chamber of Commerce. “We intend to host a similar event in the spring when we will be able to attract new graduates back into the community as they begin their adult careers.”

Area companies participating in the career fair include: Trouw Nutrition USA, Scheffel Boyle, Carlisle Construction Materials, Personal Preference Services, Legacy Place, HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital, and HAAG Food Service, to name a few.

Companies can register by calling the Highland Chamber of Commerce at 654-3721 or sending an email to nancie@highlandillinois.com.

Attendees do not need to register.
