Highland area police briefs for Oct. 19-25

HPD felony warrant arrest
Highland police arrested a juvenile, 16, of Highland on Oct. 19 on a felony warrant from Madison County for theft. The juvenile was taken to the county detention center.
HPD misdemeanor warrant arrests
▪ Jason W. Clark, 37, of Glen Carbon was arrested by HPD on Oct. 24 on a warrant from Montgomery County for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving while having a suspended license. He was taken to jail.
▪ Lindsey M. Weiss, 29, of Pocahontas was arrested on Oct. 22 on an HPD warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving while having a suspended license. She posted bond.
HPD misdemeanor citations, tickets
Oct. 19
▪ Bret A. Burks, 55, of Highland was charged with domestic battery for pushing his girlfriend in the neck with both hands and striking her.
Oct. 20
▪ Sarah L. Ferguson, 41, of Highland was charged with driving while having a suspended/revoked license and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle.
▪ A juvenile, 16, of Highland was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
▪ A juvenile, 17, of Highland was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.
▪ Austin A. Langenhorst, 21, of Highland was charged with possession of cannabis.
▪ Maria M. Gonzalez, 18, of Pocahontas was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and improper rear vehicle lighting.
Oct. 21
▪ No tickets issued.
Oct. 22
▪ Jamie L. Stratton, 33, of Troy was charged driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while having a suspended/revoked license and illegal transportation of alcohol.
▪ A juvenile, 14, of Highland was charged with retail theft for allegedly taking a bag of candy corn and a two-liter bottle of Ski soda from Schuette’s Market.
Oct. 23
▪ Wesley J. Pike, 24, of Highland was charged with having an expired vehicle registration, driving without a valid license and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle.
▪ Marcello Perez, 40, of Addieville, Ill., was charged with driving while having a suspended/revoked license.
▪ Amber L. Herzog, 33, of Highland was charged with having an expired vehicle registration.
▪ Alanna K. Steinmann, 25, of Highland was charged with unlawful interference of visitation.
Oct. 24
▪ Amanda A. Kuegler, 31, of Highland was charged with driving while having a suspended/revoked license.
Oct. 25
▪ Sheri L. Steward, 38, of Bunker Hill was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
