Catherine F. “Katie” Siegmann, 79, of Aviston died on Sunday Nov. 15, 2015 at Countryside Manor in Aviston.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 20 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston. A memorial Mass will follow the visitation on Friday at the church, with Father Daniel Friedman officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Aviston. Moss Funeral Home in Breese is in charge of arrangements.
She was born on Dec. 1, 1935 in Aviston to George and Catherine (Wellen) Timmermann. She owned and operated Katie’s Beauty Shop in Aviston from 1964 to 2015 and was the beautician at Countryside Manor for 27 years. She enjoyed playing euchre and bingo.
Survivors include a daughter, Beverly (Bill) Haake of Highland; grandsons, Matthew and Michael Haake; brothers, Walter (Lucy) Timmermann of Calabash, N.C., and David “Jeff” (Mary Jane) Timmermann of Germantown; sisters, Delores (George) Glover of Napa, Calif., and Edna (Mike) Banco of Great Falls, Mont.; and sisters-in-law, Julie Timmermann of Trenton, Marilyn Timmermann of Phoenix, Ariz., Marie Timmermann of Breese and Lynn Timmerman of Virginia.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Paul Timmermann, Urban Timmermann, George Timmermann and Raymond Timmermann; sisters, Esther Brady and Marie Povolish; brothers-in-law, Wally Schroeder, Ray Brady, Elmer Singler and Paul Povolish; and a sister-in-law, Kay Timmermann.
