Clinton County Showcase to present ‘A Seussified Christmas Carol’

Clinton County Showcase will present A Seussified Christmas Carol Dec. 4-6 and 11-13 at the Avon Theater, 525 North 2nd St. in Breese.

This whimsical reinvention of Dickens’ most beloved Christmas story in wacky rhymed couplets. With zoot fruited juices and binka bird geese, from Bed-Headed Fred to Timmy Loo Hoo, this tale of glorious holiday cheer is similar to something Dr. Seuss might have come up with — if he ever had his way with the story…

On Friday and Saturday, doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m. On Sunday, Doors open at 1:30 p.m., and the show starts at 2 p.m.

General admission is $12. students, seniors and active military are $10. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Clinton County Showcase at (618) 526-2866. A recorder will be in operation two weeks before each show. Leave a message with the following information: name, date of performance, number of tickets, and telephone number. General admission tickets will be sold on the night of the performance at the box office. You can also order tickets online at ccshowcase.com.
