Grantfork Elementary

Grantfork students adopted a family to help for Christmas. They got seven boxes and bags of items to help a single mom and three small children to have a merry Christmas.

School parties will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 22 from 1-2:30 p.m., and school will dismiss for the Christmas break at 2:40 p.m. Classes will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016.

Students are encouraged to write a story for the Young Authors Program during their Christmas break. For those that wish to participate, stories need to be turned in on or before Jan. 8, 2016.

The school Spelling Bee will begin on Friday, Jan. 8, 2016.

Grantfork UCC

On Sunday, Dec. 20, the Sunday School Christmas Program will be at 9 a.m. The program is Standing Room Only at Bethlehem Inn. A Christmas cantata, Breath of Heaven, will be performed during the 10:15 Worship Service.

The Christmas Eve candlelight service will be held at 5:30 on Dec. 24, and the Christmas morning worship will be at 9 a.m.

On Sunday, Dec. 27, there will be no Sunday school or confirmation.

Tree Recycling

Christmas trees may be taken to the Leef Township lot north of Grantfork. Place the tree in the fenced in area to be recycled. For further information, contact Judy Zimmerman 675-3396.
