Highland FFA has big year

The Highland FFA kicked off this year with a Relay for Life team that raised over $1,000. Since the start of the year, the chapter has participated in six CDEs (Career Development Events), participated in the Highland Optimists’ pizza sales fundraiser, held four chapter meetings, donated an auction basket to Monsanto, attended National Convention, harvested the test plot, helped with second grade reading night, held a food drive, and held the Big Buck Contest, which was won by Dylan Kloss. The chapter plans to participate in many more community oriented activities throughout the year.
