Marine Homemakers to meet
The Marine Homemakers January meeting will be held on Jan. 19 at 7:30 p.m. The lesson will be “Making Your Dollars Stretch,” presented by Dawn Dykes and Sandy Gentry. Hostesses for the evening are Sue Vallee and Mary Gross.
St. Jacob Firefighters Auxiliary to host breakfast
The St. Jacob Firefighters Ladies Auxiliary will host a fundraiser breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Jan. 17 at the St. Jacob Firehouse.
Advance tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children ages 4-10. Advance tickets are available for purchase by emailing stjfdladiesaux@yahoo.com.
Tickets at the door will be $7 for adults and $4 for kids ages 4-10. Carry-outs will also be available.
Blood drive set at Marine Masonic lodge
A Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center blood drive will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Jan. 16 at the Marine Masonic Lodge. Donors will get a free breakfast. If you have questions or to make an appointment, call the Marine Coin Co. at 887-2008.
