Highland Garden Club to meet

The Highland Garden Club meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28 in the upstairs meeting rooms No. 2 and 3 at the Korte Recreation Center. The program this month will be a “make and take” with Carol Elkhe, owner of Carol’s Forget Me Not in Highland. The cost is $15. The “make and takes” are so much fun and always well-attended. The Highland Garden Club meets monthly on the fourth Thursday of each month. The mission of the club is: “To plant the seeds of knowledge, cultivate friendships, grow in our appreciation of nature, harvest ideas, and preserve the beauty of the commmunity.”
